We decided to check out this Greek restaurant first, and we were impressed by the dinning experience
We ordered chicken wings, steak and mushrooms as appetizers.
For dinner, we went for the platter sampler, which had a juicy Greek-style chicken, tender tenderloin, and a tasty Greek-style snapper.
I chose sweet potato as my side dish, and it also came with gumbo and bread.
The gumbo was yummy and had just the right amount of spiciness.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely go back again.
This place is family-friendly, so it’s good for kids too, and parking is available on the street on both sides.
However, it’s not guaranteed that you’ll find a parking space close to the entrance.

2. Cloray’s Place
The food portions are always big, which is why I don’t mind paying any amount here
Whenever I go, I always choose the oxtail, I haven’t found anyone in Bessemer who can make oxtails as delicious as hers.
I also tried baked chicken, greens, macaroni and cheese, cornbread, and a sweet tea, and they were very delicious.
You can’t make a wrong choice with that. Highly recommended!

3. Dos Hermanos Mexican Restaurant
I’ve been in Bessemer for more than two weeks and this is the best taco truck I’ve come across!
We have always adored the tacos, and within two weeks, we have visited this place more than three times.
On our last visit, we decided to try their quesadilla and it was amazing!
We also tried the breakfast burrito and ceviche, and it was incredibly delicious.
Their menu may not have as many options as a big restaurant, but the taste of every dish (which I have tried) is absolutely exceptional.

This was our first time eating at this Waffle House and everything was just right!
This particular Waffle House will provide you with a meal for $5 and more.

A friend recommended this place to me, and I was extremely happy with the service and the quality of the food, I can’t even express enough how much I love this restaurant!
The food is beautifully presented and delicious, especially considering the prices, and let’s not even start talking about the amazing atmosphere and decorations throughout the restaurant.
This restaurant is a fantastic spot for a romantic date night or a nice family dinner
We will definitely be returning very soon!!! It has quickly become one of my favorite places to eat in Bessemer

At first, I went to the drive-thru, but it was really crowded, so I decided to park my car and go inside instead.
The cashier inside was really nice and knew a lot about the food they served.

7. Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen
Today was my first time ever trying Popeyes, and the food is incredible, and the lady at the drive-thru was really helpful and patient in assisting me with my order.
I ordered two Popcorn Shrimp Combos with red beans and rice and a biscuit, they were excellent, plus the food was hot and fresh.
She made the whole experience even better! I will definitely be visiting the Popeyes in Bessemer again!
We also tried the fried chicken, is the best I’ve tasted since I came to Bessemer.

We were just coming back from Alabama Museum of Health Science and were looking for where to have lunch, then we came across this restaurant, and we decided to check it out.
And we are glad we did because we had a fantastic experience.
I ordered a pork chop with sides of Mac and cheese, yams, and cornbread to take home, and when I took my first bite of each dish, I couldn’t help but do a little happy dance.

9. Bob Sykes Bar-B-Q
This is our third time visiting Bob Sykes, with our first and second first being last year.
Just like last time, the food was exactly as I remembered – absolutely delicious!
I decided to have the ribs, which were seasoned perfectly without being overly seasoned, and the sauce was just right!
I also ordered fries and coleslaw, and the coleslaw wasn’t soggy but had a nice crispness to it.
I especially enjoyed the slight sweetness in the coleslaw.
Another highlight for me was the red velvet cake, the frosting was fresh and topped with walnuts, and the cake itself was moist and incredibly tasty!
My teammate opted for the pulled pork sandwich, which he described as really good with just the right amount of sauce to his liking.
He also ordered the fried okra, which she found to be fresh, hot, and definitely something she would order again.
The food at this restaurant was so good that I decided to order a take-out caramel cake for my girlfriend, and she absolutely loved it!
