One of the things I personally like about this restaurant is how affordable their food is.
For breakfast, I enjoyed the eggs and two fluffy, thick pancakes.
The cured ham plate with eggs, grits, and wheat toast was so huge that it probably weighed 5 pounds.
They serve traditional meat and three meals, and their breakfast is outstanding.
It took us sometime to decide what to order because everything on the menu sounded good.
We also shared a pancake. Everything was delicious.
We had to add some salt to the grits and rice, but that’s okay because it’s better to let people season their own food.
The biscuits were light, the meats were cooked well, and everything was worth it.
This place lived up to our expectations.
Our waitress, Melissa, was also great, and the prices for the meals were amazing.

2. Hattie B’s Hot Chicken
I’ve heard a lot of good things about Hattie B’s, so we decided to visit, and they didn’t let me down.
We didn’t have to wait long before we got our order, and the food was hot and fresh.
We ordered a fried chicken sandwich, and it was fantastic, the seasoning was on point.
We asked for the “shut the cluck up” sauce on the side, and it was delicious.
It’s really spicy, so if you don’t like spicy food, be careful.
We also ordered the red skin potato salad, and it was like mashed potato salad, and It was wonderful!
The pimento mac & cheese was another superb side dish that we tried.

Whenever we visit this restaurant we usually order chips and salsa, tacos or cheese dip, however sometimes we try something different, and they’re always delicious too!
The restaurant feels casual and friendly, and they have TVs showing different sports games.
The food is amazing and the portions are even bigger than we expected!

4. Clubhouse Restaurant
We were staying at a nearby hotel, and we stumbled across this place while looking for a steakhouse, so we decided to give the Clubhouse a try.
And let me tell you, we didn’t need to search any further!
We shared the shrimp and grits and the Ribeye steak.
The flavors were amazing, and the food was cooked perfectly. We were extremely satisfied.
And I have to mention that the quesadilla we had there was one of the best I’ve ever tasted.
I highly recommend this place.

5. Brick & Tin Downtown
While on our Birmingham tour, we decided to have lunch in this restaurant and we had an amazing experience.
The restaurant itself was cute, with trendy decor that wasn’t too overwhelming.
But what really impressed us was the food, I ordered the Bluebird salad and chips with dip, and they were super delicious
However, the real stars of the meal were my husband’s brisket panini and the chocolate bread pudding.

Even though we arrived a few minutes before they were about to close, they still provided an outstanding service.
I ordered the incredibly delicious steak frites, and my guy enjoyed the equally delicious shrimp bruschetta.
Although the food selection was limited, the quality of the food exceeded our expectations for hotel dining.

I went to this restaurant for the first time recently, and I was really impressed.
When you arrive, you place your order at the front with, they give you a number, and then they bring the food to your table.
We tried pasta dishes, and they were very very delicious.
The restaurant wasn’t very crowded, so we had a calm and enjoyable meal.
This restaurant also has a few tables outside for those that prefer to dine outside, and there’s also a bar where you can have a drink along with your meal.

Heard good things about this restaurant, and decided to check it out, and it lived up to the hype.
I ordered the grilled lobster with rasta pasta, which included shrimp and chicken, and it was incredibly delicious.
The Jamaican jerk sauce added a perfect touch to the dish without overpowering the other flavors.
To top off the experience, I also had the opportunity to try some hookah.
