I have never had a bad experience at a Baja restaurant, so when I saw that they have a branch here, I had to check them out, and I was not disappointed.
I tried the steak Quesadilla with cheese dip, and it was really good and was cooked just the way I like it.
We also tried the fajitas, margaritas, and cheese dip, and they were all delicious, and the margaritas were the best I’ve had in a long time.

3. Jefferson’s
Whenever we visit this restaurant, we usually start with fried pickles and fried mushrooms, why? Because they are always crispy and tasty.
Other times we start with hot wings with ranch and chips.
And guess what? I’ve never been disappointed with the wings or anything else I’ve tried from someone else’s plate.
Their appetizers and ranch are one of the best I have tried in Jacksonville!
It’s a small place, so it can get a bit noisy and busy, especially on weekends and game days, but I don’t mind.
However, as soon as I walk in, I’m already excited to come back again!
Oh, and the overall vibe and decor of the restaurant are really awesome too!

The food portions here are so big that we couldn’t finish our meals, but I will always choose to be overfilled than be hungry after spending money in a restaurant.
The owners, Patsy and Gary, were wonderful hosts, and the young ladies at the counter were friendly and nice, which made our visit even better.
It’s an original BBQ restaurant, I tried the onion rings with my BBQ sandwich, and they were one of the best I’ve had in a long time.
Their burgers, fries, and BBQ sandwich were really good too, highly recommended!

5. Effina’s Tuscan Grill
Effina’s Tuscan Grill is one of my favorite places to eat whenever I’m craving Italian dishes.
A few weeks ago my friend and I went there for lunch, and we had a wonderful experience, our food was very delicious, and we didn’t have to wait long for our meals.
I ordered the Pasta Mediterranean, while my friend had the steak and chicken and according to them, it tasted way better than they expected.
The serving was so big that I had enough to take home and enjoy for lunch the next day.
We also tried the Grouper, a fresh fish item with tomato cream sauce over angel hair pasta, and I loved it!
I highly recommend this spot to everyone!

If you’re looking for a Mexican restaurant in Jacksonville that serves authentic Mexican cuisine, then you should check this Loco Mex out.
I tried the New Wet Burrito with chicken, it was absolutely delicious, and the food portion was big enough to fill me.
They also have some unique items on their menu that you probably won’t find at other Mexican restaurants, which makes it even more special.
Everything tasted fresh, including the crisp chips they served with salsa. They weren’t too salty, which was perfect. It was a really pleasant dining experience overall.

I love this place so much that I try to eat here at least once or twice whenever I’m in Jacksonville.

Jack’s is well-known for having the best breakfast in town, and you can see that from the long lines at their drive-thru every day of the week.
I initially wanted loaded fries, but they were only available for a limited time.
So, I decided to try their chicken strips and fries instead, and they were really tasty.
I also had their grilled chicken sandwich, which was good, but I thought it would be even better with some grilled onions to enhance the flavor.
But Jack’s isn’t only about breakfast; their chicken fingers and fries are also a big hit and will leave you craving for more.
